Colleen Silva-Hayden leads the University Innovation team in designing and implementing programs that build institutional capacity in higher education institutions. The programs focus on three key areas: university leadership and governance, teaching and learning, and quality assurance.
In the last five years, she has supported ministries of education and universities in fifteen Latin American and Caribbean countries to advance the quality and relevance of tertiary education in their respective societies. Additionally, she manages the Admissions Testing services, the Fellowship Program and internships. Before returning to Cambridge, Colleen was an Associate Professor for international relations in Bogotá, Colombia at the Universidad de Bogotá, Jorge Tadeo Lozano.
She holds a MEd in international education policy from Harvard University and a BA in sociology from Boston College.
