Pablo Jaramillo is General Director of Alianza Educativa in Colombia: a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality and excellence of teaching and learning of 11 public Colombian schools guided by 4 education organizations widely recognized in the country.
Alianza Educativa believes quality education is the best path to strengthen democracy, open access to opportunities, and develop the country. Mr. Jaramillo is former Vice Minister of Education in Colombia 2010. Pablo, Board Vice Chair Luis García, and Jorge Mahecha founded Enseña por Colombia in 2010: an organization dedicated to finding solutions to the lack of equal educational opportunities in their country. Pablo has a master’s degree in Economy from the University of Munich, Germany, and a master’s in Public Administration from Harvard University.
