Benefits of Project Based Learning | Laspau

Project-based learning (PjBL) is a teaching methodology through which students engage with real world challenges and problems in order to develop a deeper understanding. Laspau’s programs foster innovation in higher education. PjBL is about more than simply inserting activities, projects and group collaboration into a classroom. It’s about constructing an environment that facilitates students' growth as self-directed learners, equips them with softs skills, and kindles their passion for learning. Facilitate Faculty Growth Through Institutional Effectiveness Programs | Laspau

Laspau’s programs on institutional effectiveness focus on building the capacity of higher education institutions in Latin American. The programs focus on strengthening universities and colleges’ ability to innovate and fulfill their missions as they relate to three critical areas: teaching and learning, assessment and evaluation, and leadership. In this program, professors and administrators from the Chilean Universidad Diego Portales participate in a series of workshops and seminars on the Harvard campus and at Olin College in order to hone knowledge and practice of active learning teaching methodologies.
