Oscar Jerez holds a Ph.D. in Psychology and Education, and a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Psychology and Education from the University of Granada in Spain, in conjunction with the University of Torino in Italy and the University of Geneva Switzerland. He has a Master in Education, with a concentration in Educational Informatics from University of Chile, a Bachelor in Philosophy from the Università Pontificia Salesiana di Roma, and a Bachelor in Philosophy from University of Chile.
Oscar has been a consultant and advisor for several governmental and higher education entities in Latin America, Europe, and Africa. He has taught undergraduate and graduate programs on Quality Management and Teaching in Higher Education.
Also, he is the founder of the Latin American Network of Scholarship of teaching and learning (LatinSoTL), co-founder of more than 40 Teaching and Learning Centers in three continents, co-founder of the Latin European Network of Teaching and Learning Centers (ProfXXI). Oscar has been involved in the development and implementation of more than 200 graduate programs and diplomas related to higher education and the design and implementation of online courses and MOOCs, among other initiatives.
