More Information
Direct benefits resulting from
Training Initiatives I include the following:
In Paraguay, a forestry administration and extension program
designed by a grantee for his university featured an internationally
funded forestry data center.
In the Dominican Republic, a grantee conducted field research
on soil and plant testing in his country to investigate the most
efficient use of fertilizers in flooded rice. His contributions
helped local farmers to increase rice production.
