Description: Scholarships are offered only to candidates from the English-speaking Caribbean member states, for the last two years of study for an undergraduate degree (Bachelor's degree or its equivalent). Scholarships are awarded for an initial period of one academic year and may be extended subsequently for up to one additional year if OAS funds remain available and if the extension is necessary to complete the program of study or research for which the scholarship was initially awarded. To be eligible for these scholarships, students must already be accepted at the university they plan to attend and/or already be enrolled in the institution with two years or less of study remaining until graduation. The total financial award (tuition and benefits) from the OAS may not exceed US$30,000.00 per academic year.
More Information
Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of OAS member states, already be enrolled in or have admission to an undergraduate degree program that they will complete within two years or less, and posses an excellent academic record. Scholarships are for study in a member state other than the country of citizenship/permanent residence.
Applications must be submitted to the National Liaison Office (ONE) in the applicant's country of origin or permanent residence. The deadline for submission of applications is determined by each ONE. Candidates should check directly with the ONE in their country for the appropriate deadline.
