In 2011, LASPAU’s Green Team achieved Leaf 2 Certification through the Harvard University Green Office Program and the team is now wrapping up its efforts to achieve Leaf 3 Certification. With spring (in the Northern Hemisphere) just around the corner, the Green Team is setting its sights on completing the Leaf 3 requirements and introducing recent hires to LASPAU’s efforts at sustainability through the new staff green training program.

Following the success of the Green Team’s first community project in November, the Magazine Beach Cleanup organized by the Charles River Conservancy, the Green Team is making plans for another community service project this summer, involving even more LASPAU staff, and continuing as a participant in the university’s Green Office Program by reviewing and renewing its commitment to conserve resources and decrease its impact on our planet.

LASPAU has been certified by Harvard's Office for Sustainability as a Green Office.
