Laspau launches Advisory Council

Laspau is pleased to announce the creation of an Advisory Council consisting of distinguished experts from across the Americas. Led by co-chairs Jorge Domínguez, Antonio Madero Professor for the Study of Mexico at Harvard University and Bill Richardson, Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations and Former U.S. Secretary of Energy, the Laspau Advisory Council will provide guidance to key staff members, including Executive Director Angélica Natera, on issues relevant to Laspau’s mission and programs. “Our Advisory Council members bring a range of perspectives on and experience with critical issues in Latin America and the Caribbean. We are grateful for their willingness to place their knowledge at the service of the organization,” says Natera.

The inaugural meeting for the Advisory Council will be held in summer of 2017. Laspau welcomes the Advisory Council members and looks forward to working with them to further the organization’s vision of fostering knowledge-based, inclusive societies throughout the Americas.
