The Leadership Program is designed to train leaders at the Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas in academic leadership, university management, and the promotion of effective cooperation among the academic, governmental and private sectors.
The program includes the following components:
- The Tamaulipas Leadership Gathering, an initiative of the UAT to promote the regional development of Tamaulipas through its cooperation with the government and private sector in the region.
- The University Leadership Seminar, a strategy for the hands-on training of UAT deans and directors in the skills and tools that help strengthen their management as leaders of the institution. The seminar took place in Cambridge, on the campus of Harvard University from December 3 - 7, 2007.
