Brandeis University  The Feldman Graduate Fellowship in Sustainable Development will be awarded to an early to mid-level career development professional interested in integrated conservation and development.

Brown University  The Watson International Scholars of the Environment Program is designed for mid-career environmental leaders from developing nations, and provides an intensive, 3.5-month curriculum at Brown University, in collaboration with the Untied Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).

Centro de Estudios y Programas Interamericanos The Center for Inter-American Studies and Programs (CEPI), with the support of the Ford Foundation, invites applications from professionals of diverse disciplines and sectors to participate in its Resident Fellowship program, based at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), a prestigious Latin American university located in the San Angel area of Mexico City.The CEPI mission is to provide a space for discussion and specialized research on inter-American issues in order to stimulate greater understanding and interest in this area.CEPI offers a limited number of Resident Fellowships annually to nationals of any country. Applications are invited from the following sectors: academic, public sector, diplomatic, and intergovernmental, NGO, and the media.

Princeton University Library Research Grants  Each year, the Friends of the Princeton University Library offer short-term Research Grants to promote scholarly use of the research collections.

Princeton University Program in Latin American Studies Fellowships
The Program in Latin American Studies (PLAS) at Princeton University invites applications for research fellowships. These fellowships will be awarded to outstanding Latin Americanists interested in devoting a semester or academic year in residence at Princeton University. Fellowships are open to scholars in all disciplines, with preference given to applicants from Latin America and the Caribbean. During the appointment, fellows will be expected to pursue independent research at Princeton; to teach one course per semester, conditional upon approval of a Princeton department and the Dean of the Faculty; and to participate in PLAS-related events on campus.

Princeton Society of Fellows in the Liberal Arts Fellowship Competition
Princeton University’s Program in Latin American Studies and the Society of Fellows are co-sponsors of a three-year postdoctoral fellowship inLatin American Studies. They invite applications from recent PhDs in selected disciplines in the humanities and allied social sciences, whose research interests focus on Latin America. The selection committee particularly welcomes applications from candidates working in the fields of art history, architecture, visual studies and cultural studies, who have demonstrated an interest in interdisciplinary methodologies. The Fellow will teach half-time in the Program in Latin American Studies or in a host department, pursue research, and contribute to the Program’s activities.

Program in Latin American Studies (PLAS) at Princeton University The Program in Latin American Studies (PLAS) at Princeton University invites applications for research fellowships. These fellowships will be awarded to outstanding Latin Americanists interested in devoting a semester or academic year in residence at Princeton University. Fellowships are open to scholars in all disciplines, with preference given to applicants from Latin America and the Caribbean. Fellows will be appointed for either one or two semesters during the academic year 2008–2009.

QLF Atlantic Center for the Environment Fellowships  Each spring, the QLF Atlantic Center for the Environment hosts group fellowship on land conservation and stewardship for professionals from countries of Latin America and the Caribbean. Up to 9 participants will be selected on merit, with 5 positions currently funded and 4 available for sponsored applicants. The fellowship program will be open to individuals working as leaders, staff or volunteers with a Latin American or Caribbean institution (NGO or relevant government agency) active in the areas of biodiversity conservation, marine/coastal protected areas, landscape conservation, or rural community development.

Roberto Rocca Fellowships   For exceptional university graduates from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Venezuela, or Romania, the Roberto Rocca Education Program offers fellowships to help fund studies towards a Ph.D. degree. in specific fields of engineering (see website for a complete list), at a university outside the student’s home country. Each Roberto Rocca Fellow is awarded up to 50 thousand US dollars per year for two years to be used for tuition, fees and living expenses. At the discretion of the Roberto Rocca Education Program, Fellowships may be renewed for up to an additional two years.

Tecnológico de Monterrey  The Graduate School of Business (EGADE) at the Tecnológico de Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico, offers scholarships for its Masters of Administration program to exceptional business professionals of any nationality (in Spanish).

University of Florida Working Forests in the Tropics Program   With support from the National Science Foundation, the University of Florida is implementing an Integrated Graduate Education and Research Traineeship Program focused on neotropical working forests. The program offers a tiered interdisciplinary curriculum to train doctoral students who work in partnership with in-country institutions in one or more of four neotropical regions: (1) Maya Forest in Mexico, Belize and Guatemala, (2) Lowland Bolivia, (3) Acre, Brazil and (4) Eastern Amazonia (Pará and Amapá, Brazil).
