Dear Workshop Participants,

On behalf of LASPAU and the Fulbright Program of the United States Department of State, I would like to welcome you to the Fulbright Workshop on the Environment: Creating Regional Partnerships in the Americas. This program will offer you the opportunity to share your experiences with current and former Fulbright grantees from Latin America and the Caribbean who are engaged in environmental studies at U.S. universities and former U.S. Fulbright grantees who have conducted environmental research in Latin America and the Caribbean. In addition, during your three days in Cambridge, you will attend sessions led by faculty who have extensive experience with international collaborative efforts.

We hope this workshop will facilitate the creation of lasting research partnerships and also provide you with useful knowledge and tools for your future work.
