The Fulbright Program, the flagship international exchange program of the United States Department of State, provides grants to individuals from Latin America and the Caribbean for graduate study in the United States. Grants are awarded for Master’s and PhD programs in a variety of fields of study.
The Organization of American States (OAS) Academic Scholarship Program provides grants to individuals in OAS member countries to pursue undergraduate or graduate studies. Grants are awarded for either on-site or distance education in a university or higher learning institution in an OAS member country.
The Science without Borders program provides scholarships for Brazilians to pursue doctoral studies in the United States. This effort is part of a nationwide program, sponsored by the Brazilian government, to strengthen science, technology and innovation.
Fundación INICIA provides scholarships to Dominican educators, administrators and professionals to study master’s degrees in education related fields in the United States.
The Crédito Beca Francisco José de Caldas Scholarship Program provides opportunities for Colombians to pursue doctoral degrees at universities around the world.
The FANTEL Scholarships for Higher Education program provides grants for individuals from El Salvador to pursue undergraduate or graduate level studies in universities around the world.
The FINCyT Science and Technology Program’s Scholarships for Doctoral Studies Abroad supports individuals from Peruvian universities and research centers studying in areas related to basic sciences and engineering. Scholarship recipients will return to Peru after completing their academic programs to contribute to strengthening Peru’s capacity for research and technological innovation.
