In 2011, LASPAU’s Green Team achieved Leaf 2 Certification through the Harvard University Green Office Program, and the team is now wrapping up its efforts to achieve Leaf 3 Certification. Check out what LASPAU is doing currently to lessen its impact on the environment.
This year marked a successful continuation of LASPAU's efforts to become a more ecologically sustainable office. LASPAU achieved "Leaf 2 Certification," and Green Team founders, Program Assistant Anne Sargent and Department Coordinator Michael Picone, each earned an Individual Achievement Green Carpet Award for their outstanding dedication to fostering sustainability on campus.
Save energy by switching to compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs). They use about 75% less energy than standard incandescent bulbs and last 10 times longer.
